Gadar 2 (transl. Rebellion 2) is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language period action drama film directed and produced by Anil Sharma, and written by Shaktimaan Talwar. A sequel to the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,[5] the film stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma reprising their roles from the first film. Set 17 years after the first film, Gadar 2 follows Tara Singh as he searches for his imprisoned son during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.

Gadar 2 was theatrically released on 11 August 2023. The film received mixed reviews from the critics.[6][7] The film grossed ₹224.63 crore (US$28 million) worldwide in its opening weekend, emerging as the fifth highest-grossing Hindi film of 2023.[8]
